SGM Expands Environmental Services through MountainWest Acquisition
SGM is excited to provide enhanced environmental services to Western Slope clients and communities through the acquisition of MountainWest, LLC. Principal MountainWest staff Eric Petterson and Alex Nees have strong reputations for providing high-quality wetland delineation, 404 Clean Water Act permitting, biological assessments, NEPA evaluation, and Endangered Species Act (ESA) compliance consulting to a variety of public and private entities, including oil & gas and mining companies, federal agencies, ski resorts, counties, municipalities, and private developers. We think you’ll find their dedication to high-quality service and long-term client relationships is right in line with the SGM way of doing business.
“We really see the addition of Eric Petterson and Alex Nees as a huge win for SGM clients,” says SGM President Warren Swanson, PE. “The need for environmental analysis, permitting and consulting services in our opinion will continue to grow as Western Colorado faces greater environmental pressure from future growth and regulatory changes. Eric and Alex’s skillsets are a great complement to our current environmental team and will allow SGM to continue to provide engineering and consulting services to match our clients’ ever-changing needs.”
