Louis Meyer, PE is SGM’s President and CEO. Louis is a Civil Engineer with 30+ years experience in the Municipal Water and Wastewater field serving as the Town Engineer or District Engineer for many municipalities and special districts on the Western Slope of Colorado.
Dean Gordon, PE is co-founder of SGM and has over 35 years of engineering experience focused on serving the needs of the growing communities of western Colorado. His practice has ranged from acting on the client’s behalf as their public involvement specialist to the siting and design of water/wastewater facilities.
Jay Hammond, PE has been with SGM since leaving the position of City Engineer and Public Works Director for the City of Aspen in 1989. His 32+ years of engineering experience include an emphasis on municipal, traffic, water and wastewater, site design, drainage design, land use review and general civil engineering.
Jeff Simonson, PE has over 25 years of experience working with private, municipal, county, state and federal entities. He has served as the engineering liaison between the community and developer as well as district, state and federal government agencies providing reviews, studies and any necessary interaction with these agencies.
Chad Paulson, PE has extensive experience in design, construction and management of municipal projects. He has served as Project Manager, Process Engineer and Lead Design Engineer on numerous wastewater treatment facilities, water treatment facilities, municipal pump stations (raw water, drinking water, and sewage) and system infrastructure projects.
Bill Swigert, PE, SE, a Civil/Structural Engineer, has been working for SGM since 2000 and has been involved with the design and management of most types of building and civil structures. His project experience includes commercial, residential and industrial buildings, bridges, tankages, dams, power plants and DOD/DOE facilities.
Dan Cokley, PE has worked for SGM since 1989. He provides a diverse, multi-disciplined approach spanning 20+ years of project and construction managment for a variety of projects including state/county/municipal roadway design, district and municipal infrastructure improvements, resort and subdivision development, dam design and permitting.
Steve Ehlers, PLS has over 30 years experience with private and government sectors. He has been with SGM since 1993; his experience includes performing boundary and right-of-way surveys within Public Lands Survey System and preparation of subdivision maps to government standards.
Ron Mittleider has been with SGM for 26 of the 32 years of his drafting and AutoCAD experience. As a lead design engineer, his project experience encompasses water and wastewater systems, subdivision development, grading and drainage, structural and as-builts.
Warren Swanson, PE leads SGM’s efforts to provide comprehensive planning, design, and consulting services to municipal drinking water providers. Warren has over 14 years of experience with 12 of those years focused on drinking water. He has been with SGM for seven years and is the Drinking Water Team leader.
Jerry Burgess, PE has been with SGM since 2006. He has a broad and diverse background in all facets of civil engineering, construction, facilities management, project management and infrastructure rehabilitation. Jerry’s 18 years of engineering and construction experience has included private development design and construction as well as extensive governmental work.
Dave Kotz, PE specializes in drainage and water system analysis and design for municipal and private projects. His expertise includes all facets of drainage engineering and floodplain administration, water distribution modeling, civil infrastructure design and construction management, with specialties in hydrology and hydraulics.
Nick Senn is SGM’s Transportation Team leader with more than 18 years of planning, engineering design, and construction services for projects. He has managed the design and construction of structures, railways, airport improvements, utility infrastructure, subdivisions, and various roadway projects.
Troy Feese brings 16 years of accounting and finance experience to SGM, focusing on the daily management of accounting functions and the preparation of accurate and reliable financial information necessary for business operations. Troy oversees accounts receivable and payable, payroll and project budgets, and supervises professional clerical accounting employees. Troy has been with SGM since 2006.
