The MVMD Wastewater Treatment Plant was constructed to replace an existing lagoon facility and increase capacity as well as provide tertiary treatment to preserve the water quality on the Roaring Fork River. The new 0.5 MGD extended aeration Aero-Mod plant was completed in October 2003.
