Jay Hammond, PE - Principal, Remote Offices Sector Leader
Jay is a company principal and Sector Leader for our remote offices, which includes our Aspen office. Jay>has 30 years of professional experience working in the Aspen area. Before joining SGM in 1989, he worked for the City of Aspen for over 11 years, ultimately as the Public Works Director and City Engineer. Today he is responsible for the coordination of activities in the upper Roaring Fork Valley including projects in surveying, municipal, traffic, water and wastewater, land use review and general civil engineering.

Matthew Webster - Engineering Manager, Aspen/Pitkin County Team Leader
Matt has served as Project Manager and Design Engineer on numerous commercial redevelopment projects within the City of Aspen and high-end residential projects within the City of Aspen and in Pitkin County. Matt’s experience includes grading and drainage plans, utility plan preparation, on-site wastewater treatment system (OWTS) design, access design, erosion control plans, and stormwater management plans. Matt possesses a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering.

Terry Bendetti, EI - Design Engineer
Terry has been with SGM since 2004 and in the Civil Engineering industry for 20+ years as a CAD draftsman and designer. Terry has designed and worked on projects dealing with environmental cleanup, municipal infrastructure, road design and access plans, and utility and grading/drainage plans for commercial development and high end residential projects.

Stephen Bokros, PE - Senior Engineer
Steve’s diverse project experience includes residential developments from one lot to 1,200 lots, and commercial developments that range from office buildings, restaurants, theaters, to large retail malls in Colorado and Arizona. Steve has a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Masters degree in International Management from Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management.
