At SGM, our employees bring diversity and fresh ideas to our fast-paced environment, while striking a balance between their work and private lives. To encourage that healthy balance, SGM supports our employees' interests outside of work through:
Company Events
Throughout the year, we bring our employees together for fun, food, knowledge and sometimes, a little friendly competition. A previous summer activity - SGM's Summer Splash- took us to Aspen Glen's Clubhouse for a barbecue, swimming and games. Our Christmas Party included a tram ride to Exclamation Point Restaurant for dinner, gift giving and some telling employee awards.
Community Involvement
People who work at SGM are not only partners in building communities, they are also an integral part of those communities by living and playing there. In fostering that important connection, SGM strives to support local organizations, especially those with particular meaning to our employees. We are proud sponsors of SGM's Steve Westhoff Scholarship, hockey team and softball team, as well as the Independence Pass Foundation's Ride the Pass, the Tri-Glenwood Triathlon, Gunnison County's Cattlemen's Days, Rifle's Stingray Swim Team, New Castle's Burning Mountain Days, Rangely's Septemberfest, Meeker's Sheepdog Trials and others.
