Who We are: Schmueser Gordon Meyer is a full-service engineering and surveying firm for both the public and private sectors of Western Slope communities. SGM was formed when former Schmueser & Associates (S&A) employees Dean Gordon and Louis Meyer purchased S&A?s engineering and surveying division in 1986. Since then, the company has grown from fifteen to over 70 employees. With offices in Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Crested Butte and Meeker, SGM is dedicated to providing the best in engineering and surveying services to public sector, residential and commercial developments throughout the state of Colorado.

What We Do: Civil, sanitary, municipal, structural, resort development engineering and surveying

Clients: SGM has performed the engineering and surveying work for many of the developments on the Western Slope of Colorado including Aspen Glen, River Valley Ranch, Aspen Highlands Village and Moore Planned Unit Development, Maroon Creek Club, Battlement Mesa, Wildcat Ranch and Castle Valley Ranch, as well as work with municipalities and resort developments in Aspen, Carbondale, Crested Butte, Basalt, New Castle, Snowmass Village, Rifle and Vail.  SGM also works with numerous water and sanitation districts throughout the Western Slope.

New Projects: Approximately 200 per year, company wide

Company Goals: To expand SGM's scope of services and set up new office locations for easier accessibility and understanding of development issues on the Western Slope of Colorado.
